How it works
The purpose of this site: to record online the games you play in real life.
A free website for people who play chess in person. You play real games, face to face, with other members who are also registered here. Then you record the result on the website, and it calculates ratings and a ranking. Nothing is played online. Events may come later, but there are none yet.
- Join. Click “Join”. Enter your email, a nickname (the name others will see), a password and your starting level. Then log in right away.
- Play. Play a real game over the board with another member. Your opponent needs an account too.
- Report. Log in and open “Report a game”. Choose your opponent, the time category, your colour, the result and the date (within the last 30 days).
- Confirm. Your opponent opens “My games” and presses “Confirm”. Only confirmed games count. If they disagree, a club referee decides.
- Follow. Ratings and rankings update by themselves. Look at “Rankings”, “Latest games” and your own profile.
Good to know
Pick your starting level when you join: 200 (beginner) to 1800 (expert). Win and you go up; lose and you go down.
There are three separate ratings, depending on the time each player has at the start: Bullet (0–2 min), Blitz (3–5 min) and Rapid (10–30 min). A game only changes the rating of its own category.
A * next to a rating means it is still provisional (fewer than 10 games).
For parents
Public pages show only the nickname and the ratings. Your real name appears only if you choose to show it. The email address is never shown.
We suggest choosing a nickname rather than your child’s real name.
There is no chat or messaging on the website, and no games are played online.
